The Town of Madera, in bad need of a school raises $7,500 to start one. Pretty schoolteacher Irene Moore is hired to take charge. The Cisco Kid and Pancho are asked to escort Irene to town and Cisco sends a letter to station agent Abner Craig to be on the lookout for the school marm. But crafty Abner Craig is already expecting Irene with the plan to kidnap her for the $7,500! Craig snatches Irene and holds her in his cabin but she escapes into the mountains on Craig's horse. Craig, on another mount gallops in pursuit. Cisco also thunders into the mountains in search of the culprit and his intended victim. Craig finds Irene first and levels his six-shooter at her head. Seconds before the fatal shot, Cisco gallops to Irene's rescue but his horse stumbles as Craig's' finger frightens on the trigger!
