Three rival outlaws join forces to do away with Cisco, using Pancho as bait for a clever ambush. They capture Pancho as he returns from a stay with relatives, and force him to write a letter asking Cisco to join him. The Cisco Kid suspects Pancho's in trouble, and rides hard to his relatives' adobe. The outlaws lie in ambush: one on the road, one on the roof of the adobe, and one at a rear window. Cisco spotting the glint of a gun barrel, leaps from his horse and tackles the gunman on the trail. As Cisco and the outlaw struggle in the dust a rifle barrel levels at Cisco's head and a carefully aimed bullet speeds toward its target!
