The Cisco Kid rescues the victim of attempted murder from a blasted mine shaft in this week's blazing adventure. Tom Blake, an explorer turned prospector, has imported a dynamite detonator to enable him to work his gold mine without the aid of his crooked foreman Dana. But Dana, who has been stealing gold ore form the mine, hi-jacks the stage carrying the detonator and uses it to set a blast with caves the mine in on Blake. Dana tries tot blame the blast on Blake's pet monkey, but Cisco and Pancho see through his alibi and pursue him into wrecked mine. The range avengers lose Dana in the darkened shaft only to discover he intends to cut off their escape with another dynamite charge.
