The Cisco Kid comes to the aid of a man hated by an entire town for a crime he didn't commit. Fargo courier MacDougle is ambushed by three bandits after gold receipts. Cisco and Pancho drive off the outlaws, but another band of robbers wait for MacDougle in town and get the receipts. Billy, MacDougle's nephew, is present during the robbery and mistakenly believes his uncle a coward. MacDougle loses his Fargo job and the boy's respect; a beaten man, he prepares to leave town. MacDougle gets a tip on the bandits whereabouts, and prepares to take them singlehanded but Cisco and Pancho believe in the ex-courier and agreed to help him, MacDougle pretends to accept their help, but slips away and is captured by the bandits. Cisco arrives at the bandit camp, and with the help of MacDougle, capture the outlaws and MacDougle return to town a hero.
