The Cisco Kid gets involved in a strange and exciting story of a Choctaw death sentence and funeral without a corpse. Cisco receives an urgent letter from an old friend, Choctaw Indian Charlie Ponca demanding that Cisco serve as his executioner. Charlie has been convicted of a murder he did not commit, and according to Choctaw custom must die by the bullet fired by his closest friend! At first Cisco refuses, but Charlie's honor demand that he must die even for a crime he did not commit. For the sake of their old friendship, Cisco reluctantly agrees to act as Charlie's executioner. But shrewd Cisco unknown to Charlie has a plan to bring the real killer to justice. On the day of the execution, Cisco levels his rifle at Charlie's head, takes careful aim and fires. Charlie slumps to the ground and is buried the next day. But Charlie Ponca appears again to trap the real murderer!
