Jane falls down an old mineshaft, and Tarzan tries to rescue her. However, he becomes trapped when a heavy crossbeam falls. Jane must rescue him quickly, but her efforts are each defeated. Jack and Roger set off with Cheetah and Tantor to find the missing pair, but it is the chimps that ultimately save Tarzan and Jane.
