TARZAN-S3-E12-Tarzan and the Night Horrors

Duration 23m

The group travels of Haunted Island where Father Kelly disappeared 7 years ago while fixing the roof of his mission. Ever since then, the natives believe that strange powers are spirits have taken over the island. While rafting up the river toward the island, Cheetah is frightened by what he thinks is a crocodile. Everyone rushed to the side of the raft and it overturns sending all the gear down river. They all swim to the island, dry off and start hiking inland to find shelter. On the way to a cave Tarzan knows about, Roger leaves the trail to follow a bird and is frightened by a leopard. There are, however, no signs of a leopard being anywhere in the area. While crossing a creek on a log bridge, Dan sees one of the logs turn into a crocodile and falls into the water. The other look back at him from across the stream and the log is a log again. They reach the cave later that day and as Jane is stoking the fire, the stick she is using turns into a snake. The others come running as she screams, but see only a stick. They really begin to believe that the island is haunted. During the night strange voices are heard by each of them. "Help me...find me" it cries. The next morning, they find the spot where kingfishers are nesting and Tarzan tells Jane that voices during the night told him to go to Father Kelly's mission. Tarzan, Jane and Dan leave Roger with the birds and travel to the mission. It has become totally overgrown and in the tall grass, Jane stumbles over a human skeleton. The crucifix around its neck identifies it as Father Kelly. They give the remains a proper burial, say a prayer and hang the crucifix over the grave marker. Father Kelly's spirits is now at rest. Back at Jane's compound Tarzan tells Jane that the natives say the spirits are gone form the island and that they consider her a great medicine woman for finding the remains of Father Kelly and driving the spirits away.
