A Scottish settler, Dan McKeller, and his daughter Fiona have moved into the valley and have come to town to an auction to stock their farm with sheep. Fiona spies a horse that she falls in love with, which belongs to Frank Coates. Lewis Duncan tells her she can take the horse, Bonny for a ride. While she and Vicky are out riding, they come across Frank Coates, who has several pots and pans attached to his horse, and as he approaches the girls, Bonny hears the noise made by the pots and pans and bolts. Vicky and Beauty take off after them and after a dangerous run, manage to halt them.
