When pretty Joyce Henry is thrown into jail and charged with the murder of her Uncle Jim, Cisco and Pancho decide there is something very wrong. They spring the girl from jail and hear her story, and they decide that Uncle Jim's renegade son, Jeff Henry, must be behind the murder. Cisco reasons that if Joyce is convicted, she will lose her inheritance, which will then go to her Uncle Jim's son, Jeff Henry. Cisco and Pancho set a newspaper trap, which Jeff falls for, but the renegade son, being a killer at heart, is only brought to justice after some terrific action where Cisco and Pancho almost lose their lives.
