Believing that the notorious outlaw Red Kelly killed his U.S, Marshal friend, Cisco and Pancho take up the trail. They find Kelly in Twin Buttes, and also find that the town is a haven for outlaws, and the sheriff has granted them immunity as long as they don't commit any crimes in his jurisdiction. Kelly realizes what Cisco is up to and take Cisco and Pancho out to be killed. But they escape and set a trap to make Kelly and the other outlaws think the sheriff has withdrawn their immunity. Kelly and the outlaws are furious, as the sheriff is a bigger crook than the rest of them, and when they set out to get him, Cisco and Pancho get them first along with the evidence that Kelly had slain the U.S. Marshal.
