Rancher Jim Lacey warns young Bill Ryan to keep away from his niece, Marg, otherwise he will disinherit the girl. Lacey changes his will, which gives crafty lawyer Sam Foster an idea. Foster makes himself executor of the will and has Jason, a cowpoke on Lacey's ranch, kill Lacey and incriminate Bill, who takes it on the lam when the sheriff tries to arrest him. In the meantime, Cisco and Pancho come across the wounded Bill, and after listening to his story, decide to help. After several escapes from death, Cisco and Pancho discover that Foster, as executor of Lacey's estate, was planning to milk it dry.
