George Holden, attorney for a wealthy rancher, has him murdered in order to take over his estate, and attempts to substitute Stella for the real heiress, Mary. Cisco and Pacnho come across Mary after she had been held up and her personal papers stolen. They eventually prove to the sheriff what Holden has been trying to accomplish.
