Nebraska and Turk, a couple of heavies working in a silver smuggling racket with Will Harper, an apparently honest rancher, kill Harper when he informs them he is through with the racket, because his niece Mary has come to live with him. The two heavies then kill Ben, a puncher, who is on his way to advise the sheriff of the murder. Cisco and Pancho come across Ben's body and suspect the ranch foreman did it, but eventually they nail down Nebraska and Turk.
