Pete Sturgis, a rancher who is working the old water toll racket on unsuspecting cattle drivers, meets resistance from Sandra Lindsay, a good looking, spirited rancher who is driving a herd of cattle to market with her fiery old foreman, Dusty. When Cisco and Pancho realize what Sturgis is doing, they lend a helping hand while being hampered by a whimsical old sheriff who is determined to throw them in jail.
