Joan Bentley, who tells Cisco she is an insurance detective, and her partner, Stan, trace the historic Peralta diamond necklace to a resort hotel owned by Parker and managed by Mason. Cisco and Pancho become involved when Stan is shot by Parker's heavies. Cisco and Pancho, after getting their necks in the sling a couple of times, finally get the goods on Parker who brings in the stolen diamonds by carrier pigeon for re-cutting. And Joan, instead of being a detective, turns out to be a culprit who almost cooks Cisco's goose.
